HUBRIS AND HUMILITY - POSTURES TOWARD THE LAND

Every structure contains an answer to how humans should inhabit the earth. This triptych traces three postures.
The first is conquest: the vertical city that defies gravity and fire, stacking lives into systems optimized for density rather than survival.
The second is surrender with intelligence: vernacular homes that grow from the land and return to it, leaving no scar.
The third is negotiation: architecture that neither dominates nor withdraws, but braids human systems into ecological ones.
These works do not prescribe a solution. They map a spectrum from hubris to humility, inviting viewers to consider where they stand.
